The Moscow Victory Day Parade kicked off at the Red Square on Tuesday, marking the 72nd anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War.
More than 10,000 people, 114 pieces of military equipment including the newest Tor-M2DT anti-aircraft missile systems are taking part in the parade.
For the first time, the military-patriotic movement Yunarmia, consisting of Russian schoolchildren, will participate in the celebrations.
A number of commemorative events celebrating the 72nd anniversary of the official capitulation of Nazi Germany to Soviet forces will take place in 26 Russian cities.
