Two people died and several were injured on the Greek island of Kos, Friday, when a 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck some 12km (7.4 miles) off the Turkish coast. The tremor triggered a mini tsunami, damaging dozens of houses and roads.
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, the quake struck at a depth of 10km (6.2 miles) off the Turkish resort city of Bodrum in Mugla Province.
No casualties or serious damages were reported on Turkish side but a floor at the state hospital in the port city of Bodrum did collapse, injuring a further 70 people.
