Workers scrubbed down an oiled sea lion at SeaWorld San Diego's Oiled Wildlife Care Center, Thursday. The sea lion remained calm as it was examined, washed, hydrated and fed by staff at the facility. The female pinniped was a victim of the Refugio Beach oil spill in Santa Barbara. Her body, face and flippers were covered in oil when she was brought in for treatment. Despite being weak and lethargic upon arrival experts are cautiously optimistic about her chances of survival.
