Русия: Путин тества Лада Веста

A new concept Lada Vesta automobile, designed by the Russian major carmaker AvtoVAZ, was presented to Russian President Vladimir Putin during the Valdai Discussion Club meeting in Sochi, Thursday. Putin appraised it as a "very good car" with "good throttle response" after he test-drove a bright green Lada model, accompanied by AvtoVAZ CEO Bo Andersson. The commercial production of the Lada Vesta was launched at AvtoVAZ Izhevsk plant on September 25. Around 5,000-6,000 cars are expected to be produced in 2015 with, near 70,000 due to be produced in 2016.
