BMW's spectacular cars were unveiled at the 2018 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Michigan on Monday.
Among 2018 models gracing this year's auto show were BMW X2, Mini Coopers and motorcycles. The X2 is the brand's latest sport-utility (SUV) car with 228 horsepower and twin-turbocharged four-cylinder engine under the hood. The new X2 crossover claims to hit 97 kmh (60mph) in 6.3 seconds and is fitted with crash-avoidance and entertainment technologies.
CEO of BMW of North America, Bernhard Kuhnt, told Ruptly that "2018 is the year of the SUV" as he announced the production of a few newer models until the end of the year.
NAIAS 2018 is being held at the Cobo Center and will run until January 28.
