Israel: IDF on high alert after 'irregular Iranian activity' in Golan Heights

Israeli defence systems and troops were put on high alert in the occupied Golan Heights, as images released by the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) showed on Tuesday.
The move was in response to "irregular Iranian activity in Syria".
Civilian populations in the area, which is Israeli-controlled Syrian territory, are being prepared.
"Any aggression against Israel will be met with a severe response," added IDF spokesperson Jonathan Cornicus on Twitter.
The news came as US President Trump said the US would quit the Iran nuclear deal.
