The semi-finals of the relay tank biathlon of the International Army Games 2017 kicked off on Tuesday, in Alabino, near Moscow.
Teams from Russia, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan & Azerbaijan competed against each other in races and target shooting.
The annual military competition has been held since 2015 on the initiative of the Russian Defence Ministry and has expanded ever since. This year seven countries, including Israel and Syria, are participating for the first time in the games. The teams are competing in 28 different disciplines, including contests with tanks, snipers, and different air and sea disciplines.
