България: Активисти предлагат себе си като човешко месо на протест

Vegetarian and vegan activists staged a protest on Vitosha Boulevard in the centre of Sofia, under the slogan "meat is murder" to protest against the human consumption of animal meat, Sunday.
Activists laid in cardboard boxes before being covered in red paint simulating blood, and were then wrapped with plastic film pretending to be meat trays similar to those found in the supermarkets. Nearby, another group could be seen ‘eating’ raw sausages that had been doused in red paint in an aggressively carnivorous manner.
The purpose of this event was to show the point of view of the animal within the meat industry. Organisers wanted to point out the large amount of animals that are slaughtered en masse on a daily basis for human consumption.
