Russia: 'Mbappe will do the same' – France's coach ready for Uruguay

The French national team held its last official training before their quarter-final against Uruguay in Nizhny Novgorod on Thursday.
Head coach Didier Deschamps promised more from his young striker Kylain Mbappe. "The Uruguayans saw him, they know what he is capable of and he will have to do that same thing," he told journalists.
Asked whether he expected Uruguay's goal machine Edinson Cavani to be absent through injury, Deschamps said his side had to be ready for any eventuality. "I'm preparing my team the same as if [Edison] Cavani is playing," he said.
Les Bleus topped Group C and won their last-16 match against Argentina 4-3, after 19-year-old striker Kylian Mbappe starred with a brace.
At World Cups, Uruguay are unbeaten against France, with a 2-1 victory in 1966 as well as 0-0 draws in 2002 and 2010.
