Италианската брегова охрана спаси нови 99 нелегални емигранти

The Italian Coast Guard released footage on Wednesday showing the rescue operation in which they intercepted 99 migrants attempting to sail through the Mediterranean on Tuesday. The vessel was en route to Europe through the straights of the Mediterranean. EU officials have recently approved plans to use warships and reconnaissance aircraft in an attempt to stop migrant smugglers from operating in the north of Africa, specifically Libya. Libyan authorities have rejected the plan, but Brussels will reportedly continue to push the proposal as a UN resolution. Britain, Germany, France, Italy and Spain have already promised to deploy vessels for the mission if it goes ahead. However, both France and Britain have stated they will opt-out of an Italian-led proposal to share asylum seekers throughout the continent.
