The 26 year-old daredevil Almaz Smailkulov demonstrated his skills to ride a wakeboard through the rocky Kara-Balta river while being pulled along by a horse, in Kyrgyzstan's Chuy Region, on Wednesday.
Smailkulov stated that his unusual hobby is very dangerous as the "horse in always unpredictable" adding, "You never know what is in the horse's mind."
Another danger of this sport that was invented by Almaz Smailkulov, is that the young man is performing it without a helmet, which is extremely dangerous giving the fact that he rides in a rocky river.
Smailkulov also remarked that the emotions that he gets from this sport are helping him to "live in this complicated and cruel world."
He believes that after adding a horse, a river and a mountain landscape to the sport, the Kyrgyz people may become interested in wakeboarding.
