One of the Europe's biggest skating rinks was opened on Thursday at Moscow's Gorky Park, with its creators covering 18,000 square metres (193,750 square feet) with artificial ice.
One of several points of interest regarding the expansive site is the 3,500 square metres (37,673 square foot) of graffiti sprayed under the ice, featuring Russian warships from the early 20th century.
Visitors can also enjoy an eight-metre high frozen fountain as well as an ice maze, which invokes the magic of the Northern Lights through its green illuminations.
