The Eiffel Tower in Paris was illuminated in the colours of the German national flag, Saturday, in a sign of solidarity with the victims of Munich mall shooting.
The attack, which left at least nine people dead, was carried out by lone gunman, Ali Sonboly, who killed himself after the attack. Sixteen people were also injured in the assault, three of them critically. Police are still investigating the motive behind the shooting, though the initial evidence suggests the Sonboly was not politically motivated.
