Germany: 400 police officers raid Hildesheim mosque in Lower Saxony

Around 400 police officers and emergency services personnel carried out a raid of the Hildesheim 'Deutschsprachiger Islam Kreis' (DIK) Mosque and the apartments of eight DIK board members in the Lower Saxony city of Hildesheim, Wednesday.
Police cars blocked the roads surrounding the building and armed police broke the door before entering. No arrests have yet been reported.
The Lower Saxony Interior Minister, Boris Pistorius has singled out the DIK in Hildesheim as a key location for 'Salafist radicalisation.'
