Spain: Messi wins record fifth Golden Boot award

Barcelona footballer Lionel Messi received a record fifth Golden Boot award for finishing last season as the top goalscorer in Europe in Barcelona, Tuesday.
Last season Messi scored 34 goals in 36 games for Barcelona in LaLiga, finishing ahead of Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah and Tottenham's Harry Kane.
With this victory, Messi leapfrogged long-standing rival Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the Golden Boot four times. Prior to this season, Messi won the award in 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2017.
