Xu Zhilin, a 62-year-old man from Chengdu put his ripped muscles on display as he sweated through his regular workout on Thursday.
The muscular senior has not always been this herculean, as he admitted, saying, "I was fat when I was over 40 years old.” That was when he started hitting the gym and lifting those weights and barbells. “I’ve been in the fitness industry for 20 years now," he stated.
While looking fit and flawless on the surface, Xu Zhilin has been struggling with health problems related to the "cervical spine, the lumbar spine and a knee," and he has been tweaking his routine annually to fit his physiology.
Keeping up that jacked physique has not been easy as Xu Zhilin said, "when you do not practice, the muscles degenerate and the fat will come out."
Xu hopes he can continue to be healthy and stated “when we have a good body, we can cause less trouble to society, to children and to ourselves."
