Italian supercar manufacturer presented its latest model, the Huayra Roadster, at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Wednesday.
As a coupe, the Pagani Huayra was unveiled six years ago, but the Huayra Roadster version is a completely different vehicle, weighing 1,280kg, (2,821lbs) 80kg (176lbs) lighter than its sister model.
This weight saving has been achieved through the use of a newly developed carbon-titanium composite known as Carbo-Triax HP52. The Mercedes-AMG V12 engine has also been upgraded, and it now produces 753 horsepower in comparison to 720 horsepower in the coupe version.
It has a new X-Trac seven-speed sequential gearbox, and is an automated manual car as opposed to the dual-clutch unit in the coupe.
Pagani has priced the Huayra Roadster at around €2.3 million ($2,427,995), with production limited to 100 units, all of which have been sold.
