Several hundred anti-fascist protesters took to the streets of Cologne on Sunday evening to demonstrate against the Alternative for Germany (AfD), after they finished third in the German federal elections.
The demonstration came as the Federal election exit polls showed that the AfD was polling at 13 percent, guaranteeing it a seat in parliament for the first time. The protest ran peacefully with no clashes.
